Every beat is mixed, arranged, and crafted with the same attention to detail found throughout my production work, blending cinematic atmosphere, soulful melodies, powerful drums, and emotionally driven compositions. Non-Exclusive License

License an existing beat while allowing other artists to purchase non-exclusive rights to the same instrumental. This option is ideal for independent artists looking for a professional sound at an affordable price.

Exclusive License

Purchase exclusive rights to a beat and have it permanently removed from future licensing. Once sold exclusively, the instrumental will no longer be available for lease to other artists, giving you a unique foundation for your release.

How It Works

Browse the beat catalog and listen to the available instrumentals. Once you've found the beat that's right for your project, simply purchase either a Non-Exclusive License or an Exclusive License.

Within 24 hours of your purchase, you'll receive an email requesting the title of the beat you'd like to license.Simply reply with the name of your selected beat, and you'll receive your licensed audio files, Beat License Agreement, producer information, registration details, and all supporting documentation needed to properly release your record.

If you have any questions during the licensing or registration process, post-purchase support is available to help ensure your release is properly credited and registered.

Exclusive License

  • ✓ Producer credit is required

  • ✓ The recording artist retains 50% of the songwriter/composer ownership for the song.

  • ✓ When registering your song with a Performing Rights Organization (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, etc.), Hollywood Cobain must be listed as a songwriter/composer according to the writer splits outlined in the license agreement.

  • ✓ If the instrumental includes a credited co-producer, they must also be credited during song registration and assigned their respective writer split percentage as outlined in the Additional Notes section of the license agreement.

  • ✓ Copyright ownership of the instrumental remains with Hollywood Cobain and any credited co-producer(s). Any co-producer writer share is allocated solely from Hollywood Cobain's 50% ownership and does not reduce the recording artist's 50% ownership.

  • ✓ Commercial use according to the selected license agreement

  • ✓ Producer credit is required

Delivery & Registration Information

Within 24 hours of confirming your beat selection, your delivery package will include:

  • ✓ Your licensed audio files (based on your selected license)

  • ✓ Your official Beat License Agreement

  • ✓ A Producer Information Sheet containing:

    • Hollywood Cobain's songwriter/composer information

    • Writer split percentages

    • Hollywood Cobain's IPI/CAE number

    • Publishing company name (if applicable)

    • Publishing IPI/CAE number (if applicable)

  • ✓ Instructions for registering your song with your Performing Rights Organization (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, etc.)

  • ✓ Additional licensing information and important registration requirements

  • ✓ Instructions for obtaining post-purchase support should you need assistance with licensing, song registration, or any questions related to your purchase.
